Valentine's Day is just around the corner and seriously, enough with the jewelry commercials! This holiday isn't about buying outrageous gifts or making a reservation at the most expensive spot in town. It's pretty simple really, all you need is love. It's a day for couples to take time out of their busy schedules to say things like, hey...I like you even when you first wake up in the morning. Or for rad singles to celebrate the fact that they don't have to do someone else's laundry if they're even doing laundry at all because they're too busy being fabulous. Or for families having movie night, baking cookies and playing games. Whatever it is that makes you happy, enjoy the sweetness of being in the company of those you love. My boyfriend and I have created the tradition of making pizza at home, opening up a bottle of wine and playing dominoes...that's our thing. Mom and Terry throw their annual couple's party with the neighborhood gang. For every celebration, Mom and I collab on a pinterest board to bring together our favorite ideas that we'll work from for our celebration. So here it is folks, our Valentine's Day 2015 roundup!

For the party people, you're going to need some fun banners, paper poms and fans to deck out the place. Shop our Valentine's Day decor here!

We LOVE baking for Valentine's Day. Homemade sweets are the best gift and when wrapped with care, make the best Valentine's treats for sweethearts in your life.  We give them to friends, co-workers, even the mailman. He's the best. Thank you for the recipe Alice & Lois!

Like the ksny fancy another serving tray, striped straws, and cake pedestal which she so cleverly used to serve up sprinkled pancakes. Whatever, it's carb day.
